Each year, Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE) continues to redefine the global standard in hair extension education and certification. Founded by stylist and educator McKenzie Turley, IBE has built a community of professionals who value craftsmanship, innovation, and care—championing a method that prioritizes scalp health, seamless aesthetics, and technical excellence.

In 2025, Fiklore Design partnered with IBE to develop a complete packaging and visual identity system that captures this refined professionalism and the brand’s dedication to empowerment through education.

The design direction was rooted in IBE’s guiding principles—precision, authenticity, and understated luxury. Rather than relying on printed graphics, the system celebrates tactile experience and material integrity. Each piece invites touch and communicates calm confidence, echoing the brand’s educational philosophy of mastery through subtlety and skill.

The centerpiece of the collection is a hand-crafted wig box, produced with a heavy, beige-toned specialty paper. Its uncoated surface and debossed logo create a quiet yet unmistakable presence, emphasizing texture over color. The result is a minimal object of quality—serene, balanced, and enduring.

The suite also includes a thank-you letter sealed with wax, introducing an intimate, ceremonial gesture that reinforces the personal connection between brand and stylist. The letter is enclosed in translucent vellum paper printed with a gold-foil IBE logo, adding a delicate shimmer and a sense of refined exclusivity.

Together, these elements form a cohesive visual identity in three dimensions—a physical expression of brand values through structure, tactility, and ritual. Every fold, texture, and finish was considered to evoke the same meticulous care that defines IBE’s teaching and installation methods.

The final system unites visual minimalism with emotional resonance, turning the act of unboxing into a symbolic continuation of IBE’s educational journey. More than packaging, it serves as an extension of the brand’s promise—to elevate not only beauty, but also the standard of professionalism across the industry.
