Bold typography and color systems shaping a fresh-meat pet food brand

WildFeed is a fresh-meat pet food brand built around the idea of “returning to natural feeding.” Our design strategy centered on transforming this philosophy into a strong, instantly recognizable visual identity. We began by refining the brand positioning toward purity, freshness, and nature-driven nutrition, then translated these values into a powerful graphic language.

The core of the identity is the deconstructed Chinese character for “fresh,” enlarged and treated as a graphic symbol rather than simply text. This bold typographic system becomes the main visual asset across all packaging, creating strong shelf impact and immediate brand recognition. Complementing the typography, we developed a high-contrast color system—deep blues, greens, and reds layered in bands—each representing different product lines while maintaining unified brand coherence.

Packaging design follows a modular grid structure, ensuring both aesthetic clarity and practical scalability. Large typographic blocks convey confidence and modernity, while minimal supporting information communicates nutritional transparency such as “100% fresh meat” and “0% grains.”

Overall, this project integrates brand strategy, visual identity, and packaging design into a cohesive system. WildFeed’s packaging not only reflects product freshness and natural philosophy, but also establishes a bold, iconic presence in the competitive pet food market.
